First and foremost, it was quiet, they have a policy that discourages people from congregating in the courtyard at night which helps keep the noise down. The kitchen was great and pretty clean, and they cleaned my room every day. What I liked best about this hostel were the big tables in the kitchen which allowed one to make friends with other guests, which is my favourite thing about staying in hostels. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to solo travelers, young and old, and there were a fee families staying there as well that appeared to enjoy their stay. And it is super close to the Jules Joffrin metro station which connects you with the rest of the city easily. I love Paris, and my stay at Le Montclair added to my experience.
